PT Satya Raya Indah Woodbased Industries (SRIWI) was founded in 1974. Its plywood plant is located in Anyer district, Kodya Cilegon, Banten, and commenced production in 1975.

The first shipment was made in 1978 to Britain, and this was soon followed by shipments to other Western European countries.
By 1980, cargoes were already shipped regularly to the United States and by 1982, exports to Japan commenced.

In order to meet the increasing demand, PT Sukses Sumatra Timber (SST), a sister company of SRIWI, was established in 1980 with its plant in the suburb of Palembang city, South Sumatra.

The factory is situated within easy access to the Palembang Seaport. In addition to conventional plywood, water-resistant plywood, “door skin” panel and container flooring were among the main export items.

In 1988, SRIWI plant II (SRIWI II) was completed for high value-added process of plywood into specialty items. Equipped with machinery of the latest technology, SRIWI II manufactures specialty plywood of various fancy surface designs, as well as boards and strips.

In 1992, under the technical assistance of leading Japanese companies, SRIWI plant II entered into the production of finished-products, which included interior doors & parts; cabinets and indoor furniture.

With these achievements, SRI Group has evolved to become one of the main contractor for the supply of these finished products to prominent Indonesian property developers, for high rise apartments, hotels, etc. We also work closely with architects & designers to supply custom-made furniture.
